Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Semanur Müfettişoğlu Karabulut, the provider of Fuji-X Recipes, the seller named on the App Store and Google Play. They cover the app and this website. By using the app you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and why.

Using Fuji-X Recipes

  • You must be at least 13. Where the law of your country sets a higher age for agreeing to these terms on your own, you need a parent’s or guardian’s consent below that age.
  • You can use the app as a Guest. To share recipes, use your Library on another device or buy Pro, you sign in with Apple or Google.
  • Keep your Apple or Google account safe: whoever controls it controls your Fuji-X Recipes account.
  • Your Username must not pretend to be someone else or a brand, and must not be offensive. We may ask you to change it.
  • Fuji-X Recipes is independent. FUJIFILM doesn’t make, endorse or support it. FUJIFILM and the camera names are trademarks of FUJIFILM Corporation.

Your camera

The app connects to your camera over USB or Bluetooth. You accept the warranty notice before your first connection; you can read it again in PROFILE › LEGAL › WARRANTY & RISKS. Its five points are part of these terms:

  • Fuji-X Recipes is not a FUJIFILM app.
  • The app talks to your camera in a way FUJIFILM doesn’t document or support for third-party apps.
  • Sending a recipe or restoring a backup overwrites a custom slot on the camera. The app offers to back up your slots before the first write.
  • If a third-party app causes a problem, FUJIFILM’s warranty or repair service may not cover it.
  • We test the connection carefully, but cameras and firmware versions differ, and things can go wrong. As far as the law allows, you use the app at your own risk.

In practice:

  • The app shows what it overwrites before each write. Read it before you confirm.
  • Cameras and firmware versions marked Beta haven’t been confirmed on a real camera of that model. Writing to them carries more risk.
  • What the app knows about each camera comes from manuals, public sources and tests. It can be wrong or out of date.
  • Keep the cable in and the camera on while the app writes. Don’t use the app with a camera you aren’t allowed to change.
  • HELP SUPPORT YOUR CAMERA writes test values into your camera’s last custom slot and puts the slot back at the end. If it’s interrupted, the app puts the slot back the next time the camera connects.

Your content

Your recipes, photos, descriptions and profile are yours. You’re responsible for them.

What you allow us to do. So we can run the app, you give us a worldwide, free, non-exclusive licence to store, copy, resize, display and transmit your content. For recipes you share to the Community, the licence also covers showing them in the app, on our website and on our official social media accounts, credited to your Username (including Editor’s Picks, Popular and share cards) and letting other users save them, as described below. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other users already saved and for records we must keep. If you don’t want a recipe of yours on our social media accounts, write to support@fujixrecipes.app and we take it down.

What others may do with a shared recipe. Anyone can view it, in the app and on the web, and search engines can index it. A signed-in user can save a copy (a Saved Copy) to their Library, change their copy, send it to their camera and export it in a Library file. A Saved Copy shows “based on” your Username. It survives your edits and your deleting the original; if you delete your account, it loses your Username and your photos. Saved Copies can’t be shared to the Community again. Nobody may republish your photos outside the app without your permission.

What you promise. When you share, you confirm that the photos are yours or shared with the photographer’s permission, and that you credit someone else’s recipe with its Source and its owner’s Instagram account.

Feedback. If you send us an idea, we may use it without owing you anything.

Community guidelines

You agree to the Community guidelines before your first share. In short:

  • Your photos, or the photographer’s permission.
  • Credit the original recipe.
  • No explicit, violent or hateful content.
  • No ads or spam.
  • Don’t harass or target people.

You also must not break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, upload malware, scrape the Community, get around the Free plan’s limits, or try to break into our systems or other users’ accounts.

Reports, removal and suspension

  • Anyone can report a shared recipe with the flag icon. Reports are anonymous to the author.
  • A person on our team reviews reports. We may remove a recipe or some of its photos from the Community and from Saved Copies. You’re told when we remove something of yours, and each removal counts as a warning.
  • We may also hide a recipe from the Community’s lists without removing it.
  • If you keep breaking the rules, we may suspend your account. While it’s suspended, you can’t sign in and your shared recipes leave the Community; your recipes are kept and come back if we lift it.
  • For serious or repeated breaches, we may delete your account.
  • To appeal, write to support@fujixrecipes.app. We look at it again and answer.

If a shared recipe uses your photo or work without permission, report it in the app (COPYRIGHT) or write to support@fujixrecipes.app with a link to the recipe, a link to your original and how we can reach you. We act quickly on valid requests. We delete the accounts of users who keep infringing.

Pro

Pro unlocks every custom slot, unlimited collections, Import from the camera and unlimited scans. The Free plan includes reading slots, camera backups and restore, sending to C1 and C2, one collection and 3 scans a month.

  • Plans: a yearly subscription, and a lifetime purchase paid once. The store shows the price in your currency before you buy.
  • Who sells it: Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). They take the payment; their terms apply to it.
  • Renewal: the yearly plan renews automatically every year until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date in your App Store or Google Play settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro lasts until the end of the year you paid for.
  • Lifetime: paid once, with no renewal, for as long as we offer Fuji-X Recipes. Buying it doesn’t cancel a yearly plan: cancel that in your store settings.
  • Refunds: Apple and Google handle refunds under their own rules. Ask them through the App Store or Google Play.
  • Your account: Pro belongs to your Fuji-X Recipes account and works on iOS and Android. If you restore the purchase while signed in to another account, Pro moves to that account.
  • Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription. Cancel it in your store settings.
  • Changes: we may change what Pro and Free include. A change never takes away what you’ve already paid for during the period you paid for.

If you got the app from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. Apple isn’t responsible for the app or its support. On Android, Google Play’s Terms of Service apply to your purchase.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in PROFILE › EDIT PROFILE › DELETE ACCOUNT. It deletes your profile, Username, Library and shared recipes, and it can’t be undone. Saved Copies other users made stay in their Libraries, without your Username and photos. A Guest’s data is deleted after 12 months without use.

We may end or suspend your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering Fuji-X Recipes. If we stop, we tell you in advance where we can, so you can export your Library.

The service

We work to keep Fuji-X Recipes running, but it may be unavailable at times, and we may change or end features. Community content comes from users; we don’t check every recipe and don’t promise that it’s accurate or that it suits your camera.

The app is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we make no promise that it is free of errors, or that it works with every camera or firmware version.

Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for:

  • damage to your camera, lost custom slot settings or lost photos;
  • what the warranty notice describes, including FUJIFILM’s warranty or repair service not covering a problem;
  • content other users share;
  • indirect losses, such as lost profit or lost opportunities.

Our total liability is limited to what you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, we update the date at the top. If a change matters, we tell you in the app before it applies. If you keep using the app after that, the new terms apply; if you don’t agree, you can stop using it and delete your account.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you’re a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in its courts.
